Ok, we finally made it to the end of the book! What a fabulous journey we have been on with Marlee and Liz in The Lions of Little Rock. To culminate this, we are working on so many different activities. Today we are finishing up writing 6 word memoirs from the perspective of Marlee or Liz. What a challenging task this was! 6 words! The students did an amazing job with this and we are showcasing our work on a bulletin in our hallway. Tomorrow, we will not only assess our learning with a question on google classroom, but we will "jog" our memories by working on a fun alphabet book in our book clubs. As the week progresses we will begin to look at music and how songs make strong connections to the themes presented in literature.
